If you’re here to learn more about how to sleep well, to maintain focus, and to think more clearly, you’ve come to the right place! As an academic, I study what lifestyle factors are related to better sleep; how sleep influences cognitive and neural health; and racial/ethnic disparities in sleep quality. The content of this blog will be focused on ways to sleep better and to think better. I will also cover the day-to-day challenges of academic research and ways of overcoming them. I am a strong believer that to be best able to overcome challenges, we have to be well-rested.
